A big shout out to Ron L from me! I won the first practice round of picks we had on this thread, and Ron had generously agreed to give the winner a pound of his home roasted coffee. Yesterday I received the coffe and man it smells GREAT! Haven't ground any up yet but I can tell it's going to be awesome. The hard part of cooking in TX is that we (in KCBS) rarely hear from the TX syndicate....they are some good cooking teams, I have gotten to cook against a few in Lonestar and IBCA....tough field.....and to take it from Johnny is his back yard....tough call on that one....but, it will be a fun one at that!!

Being that we are ranked 29th, we can only try to avoid DAL!!!!! haha Really looking forward to the contest. A lot of good teams in Texas that aren't on the KCBS radar.
