Re: Man Cave Craft Meats (frozen)
Found these in the freezer section of my local supermarket (Kroger)...
I'm far from a fan of pre-made frozen patties but thought I would give them a try...
Sprinkled with mix of salt, pepper, paprika and Montreal Steak...
Converted the WSM to an impromptu Mini Joe and grilled away...
Topped final burger with sauce (ketchup, mayo, mustard, relish)..
Final Plate - Sourdough bun, pickle chips and slaw topped with "Magic Dust" and few All-American potato chips...
How was it? OK. The texture was a lot more like sausage patty than a burger. The flavor was OK but more middle-of-the-road than tipping towards amazing. What can you expect from a frozen patty? This one delivered more than most but was still a bit minor-league for me.
But...at least it did help charity....
