Pollo Asada Tacos W/ Fire Grilled Poblano Strips

[Moose]

Decided on a quick and easy meal last night since we're moving today. I marinated some boneless chicken thighs in OJ, some rub, cilantro, and green onions. I also found a poblano in the fridge, so decided to add that to the mix as well.

Poblano strips getting charred:

When the skins were charred, I removed them from the grill and into a paper bag to sweat, then a bit later peeled the skins off.

Chicken went on indirect:

When the chicken was mostly cooked, I put it on the hot side of the grill for a few minutes.

The Missus also made some delicious homemade tortillas while I was grilling.

Two tacos ready to eat, with the sliced poblano chiles, fresh pico de gallo, and salsa roja:

It was definitely better than pizza delivery!
