Placing steel plates under charcoal basket... issues???

Thinking about placing steel plates under my charcoal basket... does anyone see an issue with this?

Btw first time Q'er on here... looking forward to a great UDS :clap2:

In place of the grate?

No there is a cheap grate on the bottom from the dollar store... hard to see there... but the plates would be to raise the basket up instead bolts
