Tonight I had a buddy over to talk some business and make some pizza with me. I pulled out my last remaining dough round from the freezer, and had my friend pick up some Trader Joe's pizza dough so we each could have our own pies. Unfortunately, they only had whole wheat, which was fine for my friend. I also had some leftover pizza sauce I had made a few weeks ago, as well as some whole milk mozzarella.
Didn't feel like firing up the pizza kettle, so just used my granite stone in the oven fired up to 550 degrees.
We made two nearly identical pies - pepper salami and basil, with a few thinly sliced mushrooms on mine.
Both pies:

And here's a few slices ready to eat:
I have to say, this was some of the best pizza we've made yet!
