Don’t remember which thread or Brethren brought this book to my attention, but I’m sure glad it did. It’s a great book with wonderful stories. Gives you a real feel of the BBQ culture, different personalities and landmark restaurants across the country. Started making some of the recipes. It’s going to be fun to work through a lot of these classics. Enjoyed Big Bob Gibson’s Alabama white sauce with chicken for the first time.
It’ll also be an inspiration for a couple more pandemic road trips. Also reminded me of some of the classics that I’ve been able to visit already.
