Being that plastic is made from oil, I'm sure a lot of stuff is.

It's trans fats I'd be worried about.
 
I only use it on chicken. I mix the parkay with some rub and put it under the skin the best I can. I'm not really looking for that butter taste, so it works fine.
 
Squeeze butter is liquid at room temperature, so when your ribs/chicken cool(s) down it doesn't harden up like solid butter or margarine. Butter flavored oil should be good too.. never tried though.
