Yesterday Padawan picked me up and went for the wholesalestores.
We walked away with a 53cm long pork loin and some of Belgians Phinest beers.
For starters we had Shrimps with Shrooms and a bacon yoghurt sauce.
Main course pork loin,risotto and d'haricots verts with goatcheese.
Dessert was banana pineapple mousse with smoked strawberry sauce...unPhortunatly we Phorgot to smoke the banana Phirst.
APhter we were done with our Phriday session we cooked up 2 porknecks.
Padawan's SIL requested one porkneck so we cooked up two...Padawan had her Phamily over for dinner.
We used the dying coals from the Red Devlin and dropped it in Padawan's Midi UDS to get it started.
APhter 2 hours monitoring the temp we went to sleep for about 9 hours...looked like the Midi UDS was smoking away at about 180F the whole night with only the ball valve open.
In total the porknecks had smoked for about 14-15 hours.
One was smoked with BigMista's PerPhect Pork rub and the other one was rubbed with Plowboys Bovine Bold.
HopePhully Padawan is gonna post the rest of the pulled pork later on or tomorrow.
We also cooked up a batch of rhubarb BBQ sauce...Padawan scored the last big box that was on sale at the wholesalestore.
