I spent the weekend up in the Mojave desert with the guys. We mostly drink and eat. I bring the ECB and put it to work. I did little smokies wrapped in bacon then dipped in BH original (no finished pic:doh:). Ribs and fries for the first dinner. Ribs had SM sweet and spicy on one rack and cherry on the other. I used BH original on one rack and a secret sauce from Steph:thumb: on the other. The first morn we had a stuffed fattie and eggs. The fattie was stuffed with diced potatoes, onions, peppers, and cheese. I made some nachoes for an afternoon snack. The next dinner was a chuckie. Rubbed it with SM sweet and spicy and injected with beef broth and more rub. Too many adult beverages were consumed before dinner was done, and no pics of the final product were taken:confused:. The last morn I sauted potatoes, onions, and crumbled sausage in the dutch oven. When that was lookin good, I cracked eggs over the top, covered it, let it cook off the heat, and then plated. We ate (and drank) well all weekend. Hope you all enjoy the pics. Thanks for looking.

OMG...y'all ate like kings!! MMMMmmmmm!

That's way to do it right there, it all looks great dude :thumb:.

We do our guys trip twice a year ourselves and usually camp east of Randsburg as well as Lucerne Valley. We take our dirt bikes and guns though we dont do much hiking other than around the camp to and from the cooler for more beers :becky:

What part of the Mojave did you guys camp at?

On this trip we went to a place called Ricardo Campground in Red Rock Canyon State Park. It's about 25 miles north of Mojave off the 14 freeway. Really cool spot. Lots of mud rock cliffs and red rock.
We're always looking for new spots to check out as we've been going camping together 2 or 3 times a year for 25 years or so.

I claim fraud!:heh: I think there is some "selective photography setup" taking place. I bet if we could see behind the photographer, we would see a 28 foot 5th Wheeler towed by a fully equipped Ford F-250. I think that the tent is in the background is strictly for artistic expression. Cook like a King and sleeping like a pauper?:-o

Thanks Red Rock is an awesome place, I rode once out of Jawbone canyon which is right near there. It would be cool to do a SoCal Brethern camp/bash weekend someday if there is enough interest...

No fraud here! A pic of my truck and one of my buddies taking a siesta in the E-Z Up. On the far right you can see the edge of the ECB by the wood pile.:thumb:
