Just got home...funny story. I got pulled over last night on the way back to the hotel. :cop: Got me for 39 in a 25. So, I did the right thing when the lights went on and pulled over into a carpark, put the truck into park, handbrake on, window down and hands on the wheel.
He told me why he stopped me and I apologised, told him I'd looked at my GPS and could have sworn it said the limit was 35. He said it changes to 35 after he the spot got me. Took my license and told me to hang tight. After a minute he came back, handed me my license and said to keep the speed down and he wasn't going to ticket me. Then, he asked me about my accent and what I was doing down there, told him about the Brethren and where we'd been...told me to have a good night.
Anyway, it was great to meet Shenco and dwfisk, and to see jakel again. Food was fantastic, absolutely great. Lamb was really good! Got a little tour of the brewery as well.
What's left of a pork tenderloin.
Lamb!
Brisket (oh that point!), ribs, turkey.
Beans and slaw.
Well used.
Get back to work!!!
A motley crew...Mandy, Shenco, Mary Lou? (sorry if I'm wrong), jakel, dw, Diane and my boof head.
Again, great time and well worth the drive. As an added bonus, Shenco gave me a clean drum to redo my UDS. It's tapered at the top so the weber lid will fit straight on it.
