I've noticed about everything in Kearney is higher than most area's. Think it's the freight cost.

I'll eat frozen meals first.
It's hard for me to even find a whole brisket here but it's never less than 4.99 and usually 5.99. On the plus side it's getting easier to justify trying a SRF. Two of the smaller ones work out to about 8.50 a pound shipped

out of curiosity what was the price on other meat. say boneless ribeye loin and what not?

Didn't pay real close attention to the steaks. Pork Spare Ribs (full un-trimmed slabs) were on sale $2.48, which is still high. Baby Backs were $3.99. Pork Loins were $3.29. Used to be $1.99 or less last year. Bone-in Country Style Ribs were on sale for $1.98. In the past they've been on sale for $.99 to 1.29. Maybe we're just in a slump??? Sure hope so or I'll be smokin' hotdogs this summer...
