North Texas Brisket Sale Alert

Wal-Mart in my neck of the woods has Choice whole packers "Price Roll Back" to $1.67 per pound today. I picked up a really nice 18# to play with this weekend.

Gotta love it. It's still north of $6.50/lb here. (at Wal-Mart) They were close to $9.00 a pound here last summer... for BRISKET!! I dont think they sold a single one.....

The other day I saw a bin of full packers 1.97#. Passed said that was to high )

Our flats are still 3x higher than full packer too.

Albertson's had choice whole briskets for 1.50/lb the other day. 17.5lb brisket for $25 plus change. So happy to live in Texas!
