Noob from NC

Hi all!

I’m pretty much a newbie to smoking. I’ve done a couple of cooks on my Charbroil propane grill and they turned out pretty good. I had an old Brinkman electric hanging around so I decided to convert it to charcoal and get a little more serious about it. Just finished it up today so I’ll season it this week and maybe give it a trial run this weekend. If it all works out, I’m hoping to upgrade to a WSM at some point. :grin:

Just found your forum today and spent the last couple of hours reading. Lots of good stuff!
