Newbie from Old Town, Florida. Been 'round grills and smokers most all my life. Recently got interested in UBS's and a lot of Google searches brought me here. Just got a food grade drum and will try to do the burn out this weekend. Thanks for all the info and pics. Lookin' forward to my first brisket off the UBS.

Welcome. If that food grade drum has a liner in it, you really are gonna be one mad gator before you get it out of there. :biggrin:

Are they that hard to burn out? From what I read here I figured 1 or 2 good fires would do it.
