No charcoal was harmed during the making of this episode but a bunch of pellets were ... :becky:

We had Pop (my FIL) for dinner tonight, he wanted ribeye and shrimp... DONE!
Msteak was just Redmond’s real salt and pepper, the shrimp was Tony Chachere's with garlic butter to finish...

Steaks and shrimp are on

One minute per side then a flip...

Time to eat y’all...

Sorry, too busy eating to get a cut pic, but it was perfect inside!

Thanks fer lookin!

Was ON a MAK 2 Star...

Autocorrect got me and I didn’t proof read it!

Thanks for the comments y’all!

How did you get those grill marks on a pellet smoker???

The MAK’s get smokin’ hot and the grill grates transfer that heat!

I tempted the grill grates and they were right at 650° just before I put the steaks on.

How do you feel about Mabel for grilling?

While it’s not the same as charcoal, I have noooo complaints. I just had a bite of cold steak that was leftover from last night and even grilling at such a high temp there is a wood smoked flavor in it which you wouldn’t really think there wouldn’t be at such a high temp!
