Hickory and brown sugar is the one we have on hand my wife likes it ..I dont really use sauce and If I do I prefer Stubbs Hot n Spicy for store bought ...:blabla:

While I tend to like the Rendezvous, Corky's, and Blue's Hog. I do like SBR sauce. I tend to add a little vinegar and honey to it to alter the sauce a bit. It works or me!

If making sauce from a ketchup base consider organic ketsup like Simply Hienz. All the ingredients listed are real food.

Ninja, that is a really good idea. I used to only buy organic ketchup to avoid GMOs, then Heinz came out with balsamic vinegar ketchup, I tried it once and now I can't get enough of it. I've got friends and family hooked on it, too. But you are right, organic ketchup as a base for homemade BBQ sauce is a very good idea. Thanks for sharing, brother. :grin:
