I found a vintage Atlanta Stove Works Cue Cart at a resale shop in No. Colorado.
Some of the cool features:

  • Cast Iron / Aluminum construction
  • 18" X 30" Cooking surface
  • Cast Iron Grill and Charcoal Grate
  • Charcoal can be raised/lowered: 3" to 14" from the cooking grill
  • Slide out ash pan for easy cleanup
  • Real thermometer still works
  • Large wheels
In 1976, i believe this charcoal grill cost about $200.00. Inflation would take that price to $800.00 today. I paid $20.00

Check my photos of before and after my refurb work.

Thanks. Pictures don't really show the side shelves. I am thinking about replacing the warped weathered wood. Want to use something treated. However, I believe all treated wood is toxic. Thought about using some cutting boards. Problem is they are too thin to fill the cast frame. All suggestions are welcomed. Any ideas ???

Butcher block for the side shelves

Best Grill ever made!!! I have three of them. Been cooking on them for 35 years. I should have a prototype of a new one soon. Stay tuned!
