New Pitts and Spitt's Pellet Smoker for the 4th

So a week ago today my friend and I decided to drive from Sarasota FL to Martinez GA to purchase a Pitts and Spitts Maverick 850 for each of us. 22 hours later we made it home and unloaded it were it sat till Tuesday. From Tuesday to Thursday I have been cooking non stop on this pellet smoker and still amazed of the quality of cook I am getting. Stated with to racks of spare ribs, then a pork but only to finish with 2 briskets that turned out amazing. I am used to my family's custom offset stick smoker that we use to compete around Florida and that my uncle built back in the 80's. Family pride and heritage for the Porkidiculous BBQ team.

I researched for months trying to decide on a pellet smoker for around the house that I could try different recopies and allow me to get some sleep while doing it, lol. Needles to say I am very happy with this purchase. Don't get me wrong I love the cooks we get from our offset stick but this pellet smoker is putting out good smoke and a quality cook without all the babysitting.
