I thought I was defrosting a 5lb butt, but it turned out to be 2 pieces (3.5 and 1.5 lbs) that was supposed to be made into jalapeno sausage. Oh well, still had to go for it.

Also threw on some ABTs for the last 2 hours:
Plated with ranch potatoes, 2 dipping sauces (shack attack and a homemade sweet BBQ sauce), and of course a glass of red wine.
