Backwoods sent me an improved firebox that came today unsolicited. They opened it up for increased airflow to the coals. Looks good. cant wait to see if it makes much difference

I used my new box just once, but was just for a short rib cook. Seemed like the temp got hotter faster, though I'll need more cooks to really be able to tell.
