I cant say enough about how good this chicken is. It was crispy and super moist. I did mine on the Kettle indirect with Kingsford Blue and some Cherry Wood. I used the Louisiana Chicken Mix that Al used and it was some excellent batter mix. I really thought the crust was perfect. Next time I am going to do my own batter but this batter is really good. My wife now doesn't want her chicken fried no mo !!

My nephew gives his seal of approval. He is joining the Navy and will be getting sworn in on June at Comiskey Park @ The Sox game.

I added links to Gores and Als post's in OT.

Did you make your own batter Phub? I cant say enough about that Louisiana mix and really want to try to replicate it but my own twist to it.
 
Unless you'd told me it wasn't fried I'd never known the difference. Thanks for the post, the chicken looks amazing.
