Thank you guys very much! I did hit a bit of wind trouble later on in the cook just because I couldn't find a good angle to give the fire life so I just had to leave the door open.

I won't be getting them that often but I was extremely impressed with the quality of the brisket and how amazing it came out with just minimal prep....kept it as simple as I could.
 
Great thread Brotha! First of all you posted great pictures on what it is to build a coal bed and secondly you cooked a beautiful piece of beef to near perfection from what I can tell. GREAT job!:thumb:
