Thank you all for your very kind words and for showing nothing but support for my efforts. In many other forums, a boastful post like mine would have elicited back-handed compliments at best, and derision and mean-spirited comments suggesting they could do much better at worst.

There has been no hint of jealousy in any of your comments, and that's what makes the BBQ Brethren the best. And believe me I am proud to know that with my latest cook that I am the best of the very best.

Weiner Wednesday requires white bread. It’s law, the internet said so. That perfect Weiner char reminded me of my childhood. Growing up we often had Weiner Burnt Ends.
I do think a sesame seed bun is somewhat over the top.
