TRI-TIP! Good second choice for a Spring grill session.
And I have to say, it wasn't terrible! Help me, Rhonda.
Went with Kosmos Cow Cover for the first layer, and then Montreal Steak for the second. Used Cow Cover on the Yukon Golds as well and Weber'ed them up too. Yum.
Started low and slow, survived a flash thunder storm, and everybody won in the end!
We ate our salad and potatoes first to let the meat rest good, and when I pulled the Tri-Tip out to slice up, my two year old daughter looks up from her high chair and simply says, "WOW" with wide eyes. What a feeling
