Mueller brisket rub?

I guess I have. I sprinkled a brisket in kosher salt then coated it heavily with pepper to the point you could not see the meat. It turned out Great! I don't think anything less than a big cut of beef could have taken it and still tasted good. I did not know it was a method when I did it.
 
3 to 1 is as far as I've gone. I cook for family a lot and I know my sister's kids would freak if I went much heavier with the pepper.
