Move to Woodpile, but I'm watching 2003 Roker on the road now and dip chit just said to be sure to cut brisket with the grain.

Dumbass!

No chit! I just saw that! Makes his show seem so valid when he can't get a simple thing right and the producers don't catch it. The brisket looked a bit overcooked. Ribs and pork look good! I'm hungry again...

I actually had sliced brisket that was sliced "wiih the grain" at LakeLand last weekend. Unusual, but...???
It did not score well, but not because of that.

Brisket is good, sliced with/across the grain, chopped, or pulled/shredded!

I saw that too. I was waiting for someone to jump on that.

I, for one, shall not jump on Al Roker. I don't care how much weight he has lost.

Seems like slicing brisket with the grain is akin to jerky.
