Memphis May 2010

Well the wife and I have our itinerary ready. Leaving NJ on the 8th. Stopping in WV to see some friends for an evening. Heading to Nashville for two days. Then off to Memphis. We plan to arrive on the 11th. Pigfest starts on the 12th. Will be there until the 17th. Will be fitting in Graceland, the zoo and try and do a trip on the riverboat.
 
Ed: Please come by and see us R-078 in the rib section. We will have alot of Brethern in the booth. If you are interested the zoo has been free on Tuesdays. You may wish to call the Convention and Vistors Bureau 901-543-5300 to confirm. They may have some speacials and discounts for you also. Don't forget Tunica is only 35 minutes south, if you like casinos.

Smokenit: The Digi Q II you sold us is working great! Don't know why we waited so long to buy one. Your team has some prime real estate on the river. Please come and see us I would like to meet you in pearson. Thanks for all the help in getting the Digi Q. If you would like to see which teams are arround you we arranged the teams by booth number. The free day at the zoo is for Tennessee residents only unfortunately.

Hello Swinebuck
Myself & 2 buddies are coming down to MIM from Wisconsin, can't wait to party & eat BBQ in Memphis. Been to the American Royal in KC, but this will be my 1st time to MIM. Been conversing on Facebook with your fellow teammate Neil. BBQ is a hobby/passion of mine, definitely an amateur though, but I've always wanted to get more serious about it and learn from the pros. Neil has graciously offered us a great deal on becoming members of your team. I'm looking forward to partying with you guys and getting some insider tips on how to make good Q. Thnx, Kurt
 
Welcome kfx! Neil is my son and the pitmaster for Swinebucks - Too Sauced To Pork. We were orriginally just Swinebucks then Neil moved to Buffalo NY and started his own team, Too Sauced To Pork. That is how we got hyphanated two teams in one. I hope you join the team it will make you trip worthwile. If you don't please stop by we would like to meet you and your freinds

Days at work are dragging. Can't wait to start the drive down to Memphis Saturday morning. I hope the flooding will not be a problem.
 
The roads are fine. Only problem is in the outlying areas. Tom Lee Park in drying out. It sould be fine. They are calling for 20% chance of rain of Friday.
