Never thought of that! I make a mean meatloaf in the oven, might have to try this!

Smoked meatloaf is sooooo awesome. Yes, you need to try it. I like it WAY better than oven cooked meatloaf. It soaks up smoke like a sponge. You can get a quarter inch smoke ring in a one hour cook.

It's the only way I'll make meatloaf now after the first time I smoked a couple on my sense retired ECB but haven't had a chance to do one on my UDS. Give's me an idea for dinner one night.

Nice job! Nothin like smoked meatloaf. Something I like to do is cook mine in a pan for the first hour to catch the drippings then remove it and put directly on grate and reserve drippings to make an onion sauce. Serve the sliced loaf over mashed spuds with the onion sauce... Mmmmmmmmm!!!!!

A Brethren twist on an American classic!!! Sounds really tasty!
Beats my mom's ketchup glaze.
Standard egg/bread crumb recipe? Dusted with anything in particular?
Thanks!!
