They use the 2" ball valve on the side.

The intake valve was not on there for the pictures

I am surprised it is setup for just one 2 inch intake for a cooker that size, but it must work ok, so I can't argue with that. I have a 2 inch ball valve on my uds, not sure how much my lg spicewine has, but it is much more than 2 inch. My vertical bendera also has much more intake, just for some examples.
