LI, NY: Homeless Veterans- Help Needed

Hi!

The BBQ Brethren and friends are preparing 8 Christmas meals for the families of homeless veterans and families dealing w/ breast cancer.

We could use some help.

We could use some proteins (ham or turkey) and 1 side dish. We already have 3 sets of 8 side dishes and 2 sets of 8 desserts.

We have proteins for 2 families taken care of. We need 6 more. If you'd like to crack open the grill or smoker to do some good for Christmas, please let me know.

I admire you guys. How is it we have homeless vets in the first place? I wish they received better mental health care.

Little known fact is that there were boatloads of homeless vets...
AFTER WWII! Yup. Sleeping in parks, etc.
I'm too far away to help on site, but can pony up to help...
