I recently bought a smoke tube for cold smoking using pellets. I wanted to smoke some cheese and thanks to several hours of reading old threads I think it was a success. Thank you to all the members who shared their knowledge of cold smoking. I probably would have jacked it up without you.

Cold smoking salmon and cheese are both wonderful. Hung hams is something I would like to try sometime.

Yes, the pellets and tube make it pretty easy. I have given out smoked cheese the past few Christmases and they are a hit as well as expected now.

Yes, cold smoking and curing are another world. I was a member of a cold smoking and curing group until the gentleman got cancer and passed. :sad: A wealth of knowledge was lost and the page has been paused. I had a lot of learning left to do there.
