This is a first year, SCA sanctioned event. For those of you who haven't cooked an SCA event, your two steaks are included in your entry fee. Steaks will be Creekstone Farms Ribeyes.
Entry Fee: $150 (Steak Only) + $25 (Chicken Wings Contest)
Steak Payout:
1st - $1,000
2nd - $500
3rd - $400
4th - $300
5th - $200
6th thru 10th - $100
Chicken Wings Payout:
1st - $200
2nd - $100
3rd - $50
The PK Grills Challenge:
PK Grills will give the 1st Place team $500 if they cook on a PK Grill. If they do not, a $250 check will go to the highest placing team cooking on a PK Grill.
The GrillGrate Challenge:
GrillGrate will give the highest ranking team cooking on GrillGrates $500.
Top 3 teams in steak will receive a trophy. Top 10 in steak will receive ribbons. All 3 top teams in the Chicken Wings Contest will receive ribbons as well.
Judging Class:
We will also be hosting a judging class at 10am for those who would like to judge the competition, it is advised you sign up for the class and we will slot you in. Teams who are cooking an SCA event for the first time can also take the class as it will start after steak selection and you will have ample time after class to go back to your site and prep and cook for turn-ins.
