June 17 Black Forest Brew Haus on LI

Any LI brethren that are into Billy Joel and good beer, should come on down to the Black Forest Brewhaus in Farmingdale this saturday night (6/17). There will be a 10 piece Billy Joel tribute band "Glass Houses" starting at 10:30 pm. This band features Henry Haid, who was one of the piano players/singers performing in the broadway show "Movin Out", my brother-in-law will also be playing guitar. Probably will be a cover charge.

I've been meaning to check that place out for years. How's the beers there?

Haven't been there in a few years, but I remeber the beers as being good. According to their web site, they were voted the 4th best brew-pub in the country in 2003, so the beers should be mighty fine.
