Is the Slow N Sear Plus worth it?

I'm not sure I have anything to add other than what has already been said, but will give my 2 cents anyways.

It is a luxury item but it works. I have found it is easier to maintain constant temps over a longer period of time with the SNS than all other methods except for maybe the snake method.

Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Is it necessary? Absolutely not.

I guess this is why I haven't got one. The snake method has worked so flawlessly and so consistently I haven't seen a need.

I used my 22 inch kettle and slow n sear to cook a small brisket today. :-D. I got 9 hours out of one load of mesquite lump charcoal and even had some left when it was done.
