Last fall Royal Oak opened up applications for sponsorships for Team Royal Oak 2021 and we applied, not knowing how many competitions we would be cooking due to the pandemic.

Well, we were selected to be part of the 2021 team!

We’re still not sure how many competitions we will do, so I reached out to Royal Oak toad let them know, and their response was that we were still part of the team and to compete when we were ready, and post our home cooks on social media in the mean time!

I was asked to fill out a form with the type of charcoal that we use, and I use briquettes in the PKs and kettle and lump in the drums, so I marked both. I was prepared to receive a pallet of mixed briquettes and lump, but this is what was delivered

We also received fire starters, Diamond matches and a box of Royal Oak swag!

Thanks to Royal Oak!

Congratulations, and your Instagram would be????
I recently bought a box of Royal Oak Tumbleweed Fire Starters for my son. They look cool but I have never used them

Awesome and congrats!

Pretty cool response from Royal Oak about your competition uncertainty. May have to go buy a bag of lump, if there is any left , to show my appreciation.

Good luck on the competition circuit if you get the opportunity!
