I know some of the brethren have said how good chuck eye steaks are, and saw them for the first time at the local store. I bought one for myself for tonight's supper, and wondered exactly what I should do with it. TIA
 
Just cook them like you would any fine steak.

As Jim said, medium-rare is great, and I recommend what I call "Redneck Soo
Veed" (reverse-sear). Cook them indirect to about seven degrees below your
desired finish temp, then quickly sear each side direct. Let them rest for just
a couple minutes, then dive in.

You don't know what you're in for. :wink:
