somebody shut me the fark up.
Not 100% complete with the old school block hog pit yet, but close enough for an initial test fire.
The wooden trap doors are covered in metal flashing on the heat side and are removable to add coals and splits as needed.
Rotating grate and cover is in the barn.
Brick bbq pit that was here when we moved in, will be repurposed to be a feeder fire, with coals being shoveled from below.
