My wife had the day off for Good Friday so she decided to go out and do the dinner shopping (usually my domain). In honor of good Friday she picked me up this monster 20oz Ribeye. And a big ole baking potato.

Just seasoned it up with some K salt and course grind black pepper. I think I'll cook it up jet engine style right over a face meltingly hot chimney. Slice the potato part way through and bake it, can't remember the proper term for this technique, then grill up some asparagus and server everything with a blue cheese cream sauce.

Hasselback potato
When i get a big steak (hard to find in the uk) i season both sides in salt & pepper & then sear it on a griddle as hot as i can get it for a few minutes both sides & then put it into a oven for 15-20mins.
Serve with stilton gravy

did you say "oven"?
