Thinking about 3 butts Saturday night for a Sunday church function.

Got down to 27F overnight... so I'm working on a big pot of brisket and green chile fatty chili as we speak.

I have some spares that need to come out to play, and we can't NOT have have wings on Sunday.

We'll be enjoying the fall WX that's finally reached us here, too.

T-Bones and a Ribeye from my favorite butcher on the Stick Burner. Will be searing those on the Weber. Also, some chicken breast and taters on the GMG pellet pooper. Hoping for better weather here in Iowa by Monday!

Found a "waygu" ribeye in the Walmart bargain bin just now. It is really well marbled and it was originally $30/lb. Tonight I will find out if it is actually way goo.

Temps dropped into the 40s and I feel compelled to make some chili.

Last weekend was hot, this one is pretty cool. Brought out some brisket chili tonight.
Some kind of new CI chicken dish tomorrow. Sunday, I haven’t been told yet...or I phorgot already.

I'll Phollowing ShadowDriver and Phrognot to the land of chili. Got the young'un's robotics team+parents coming so it's gonna be brisket/pulled pork chili (spicy and non), white bean chicken chili (recipe from the late great Brethren fingerlickin' - miss you bad, brother!) and my lovely wiPhe will be doing a little somethin' for the plant based Pholks. Also pig candy, sausages (Phrom brother Phrognot - thanks!), and a Phew other things, possibly wings.
