Guru digi and cyber q

Greetings all! I'm needing a new digi Q and have been thinking if I'm buying why not a cyber Q? aside from multiple probes, will it sync directly to my phone or do I need a separate internet connection for it? Do I need to run a internet connection constantly off my phone? I'm worried about data costs and amounts, as well as if my phone dies, dead battery, can I control it from the cyber q box itself?

The cyber q emits a wifi signal that can connects to your phone so you shouldn't have a cell data cost. There is an app you can download to iPad or iPhone called "CyberCook" that enables you to control the unit remotely (within range of the wifi). You can also control from the cyber q itself and not use a phone.
