...okay, 200 of them...
2 friends and i made a road trip to a huge hardware store to do some promo for Char Griller. It was the store that started selling them and brought char grillers nationwide to about 150 of those stores.
Since it was in the middle of the week and a 250 mile trip (one way) there wasnt much time for preparation and we cooked our Bratwurst in a tortilla wrap with arugula, grilled pineapple and honey mustard sauce.
We had 3 grills going all the time and were quite busy. Worst part was that we couldnt have a beer....
Anyway, i know for sure what i wont be cooking at home for the next couple of years
This thingy is really tasty but im soo sick of it.
Next friday is another event at a radio station where we´ll feed another 200 ( = 400 portions) of it.
At least we have reinforcements there so i bailed out of the wrap thingy and will cook lots of
ribeyes and naan bread.
Heres the recipe :
-season pineapple slices with a mix of brown sugar, cinnamon and chili powder and grill it.
-Warm tortilla on grill and spray with apple juice for texture and flavour
-put arugula in the middle of tortilla
-top with bratwurst
-add pineapple slices
-top with honey-mustard sauce
-roll up and secure with toothpicks
-cut and serve, goes well in halves or thirds as fingerfood
