Been creeping for a few days and figured I should introduce myself.
My name is Nick and I'm 1/3 of Tom's Smokin' Good Times BBQ team. I'm pretty new to BBQ'in, but my father-in-law who is the cook of our team is well experienced. I'm currently watching the master at work, learning, and providing help whenever needed.
We've only competed in 3 KCBS competitions so far with the most recent being the Naptown BarBayQ. We did pretty well overall and were extremely happy with the results. We took 5th overall, 4th in pork, and 3rd in ribs. I believe we have 3 more events scheduled this year and are hoping to get into more.
I look forward to seeing you all around the forums and hopefully we can share a beer & brisket at competitions in the near future.
