Hello Friends.

I have (among others) my Weber Genesis E-330 as my weekday grill.

And I grabbed a new in box Charbroil Electric Rotisserie at an estate (tag) sale over the weekend for $3. So it looks like the left side of the grill has mounting holes that will fit the Charbroil bracket. But the right side has no holes at all, just the groove for the Weber spit. The factory groove sits fairly low, so letting this Charboil spit ride in it wouldn't line up with the motor side bracket.

Question--would I regret drilling two holes in the right side of the lower body? Is the Weber body cast iron? Or some sort of plated steel that I'll introduce a shortcut to rusting?
