OK.......this is my official FIRST PRON POST.......
Worked pretty hard for it this weekend too..
Hope you all enjoy.....
FRIDAY NIGHT
A familiar sight....here we go!
Asparagus and 'shrooms with EVOO, SNP, fresh garlic
Shrimp with EVOO, SNP, a pinch of ground cayenne
SCREAMIN HOT WOK
Add veg....
Add shrimp....
Add angel hair pasta....
Add beer. GOOD EATS!
SATURDAY
Threw a couple of birds on the ECB.
Cut these "JD style". (Thanks for the tip, JD!)
Boy, the pups were A-SNIFFIN!!!
ROCKIN!
Thighs were at 170 the same time the breasts were at 160.
I think prepping them this way helped the dark meat cook a bit faster.

Some grilled corn with the coals that were still rollin....
Carve the meat, and.....
LET'S EAT!!!
My 3 boys DE-VOURED the chicken.
They nearly ate 1 whole bird themselves! Picked them bones CLEAN!!
TODAY
This butts weighed in at about 10 lb.
Ended up rubbing with "The Renowned Mr. Brown" recipe from TVWB.
Bottom rack of ECB.
Flipped and mopped with Mr. Brown's after 13 hours @ 225......
"I wanna be a smoker too!"

Threw on a couple of fatties (never done these before) when I got up. This photo is 4 hours later. MAN.....those things are inCREDIBLE!!!
This is after 18 hours.
Threw the hot coals (yes, there were still some left!) on the grill and then threw on the skewers my Mom and Dad brought.
Pulled.
Ended up making up some of the "Pulled Pork Sauce" off of the Brethren Recipe Page. Pretty good shtuff!!
Anyway........I'm exhausted.
This weekend, there was lots of smoke, lots of grease, lots of sauce.........I feel dirty. But I'm FULL!!!
