Well, I had my third cook on my UDS this weekend, but the first one where anyone other than family was going to eat it. I was a little nervous, but everyone was quite happy with the meal so I consider it a success! I'd be interested in hearing if other folks get/got nervous when cooking for others early on.

I have fed others quite a bit, but yesterday had to cook a case of ribs by 2 o'clock and when I woke up half the ribs were still frozen and my wood was wet due to a sideways driving rain the night before. The hour getting the pit up to temp and the first hour of the cook I wasn't sure it was going to happen. It all worked out.
