Great job! Just got done doing my first pellet brisket on my new ys640, man it was awesome. To each their own but the ability to put it in and go to bed was soooo awesome. Everyone loved it and said it was a “cleaner” smoked beef taste.
 
I see a lot of guys cooking on the top rack of the YS 640. Any reason for that?

I use both racks, and it has a pretty even heat. I use the top rack, when it isn't full, just because it seems like you should get better flow with the smoke coming from the bottom. The bottom shelves are pretty close to the deflector plate. I can't say that it really matters, but that is my thought behind it anyway.
