Had a blast fishing the Mighty Mo and Land of The Giants. Awesome food and friends and safe travels. There was a death in the river RIP to the fly fishing enthusiast who passed. Bride was glad to have me home. Had a few requests for me to cook. Here is one of our favorites

3-Meat green chile red chili

Meat-1# each ground sirloin, mesquite smoked pulled pork and hickory/pecan smoked chopped brisket

1/2 bottle beer and chicken stock

Seasonings: onion-garlic-Morton's Chili seasoning, small can tomato paste

Add one cup roasted chopped green Chile and one can green Chile enchilada sauce

Kosher salt and black pepper to taste.

Simmer 2 hours or longer.

Sounds like a great trip - looking to make a permanent move to Big Sky Country in the near future and fly fishing has about 75% do to with it. Our mountains and rivers are getting a little too crowded for my taste here in CO! Thanks for the motivation to get out and fish this week regardless!
