G'Day Bruces! :becky:
It's an epic fail because it looks terrible. Presentation execution fail.
Other than that it tasted pretty good. I tried to put together some Korean elements which I know well.
First started making Roy Choi's SPLASH.
Ingredients:
Then made Maangchi's Ssamjang:
Ingredients:
Then made Roy's Kalbi marinade:
Ingredients:
Time for the cook a few days later with these 2 Wagyu beef patties.
Only marinaded for about 30 minutes as I had kiwi fruit in the Kalbi marinade.
Fried up the mince on the flat top.
Added the tortillas and Kim Chi
Then the wagyu mince and cheese:
At this stage it was looking pretty good:
But plating let me down. They didn't cut very well and the Ssamjang would only come out of the bottle in drops so it looks awful even though it tasted good.
Plated with some Soju and the Splash.
It went down a treat
Quite a lot of work for a terrible picture, but at least it tasted good!
Cheers!
