Does Costco prime brisket price fluctuate?

Brisket fluctuates between about $2.69 and $3.99 a pound here in Raleigh, NC. 3.99 during peak outdoor cooking months, it seems. Late fall they dropped to 2.69 and have climbed slowly since. Just paid 3.29 for one the other day.

A real brisket cook ALWAYS walks by the cooler and looks for an exceptional deal, no matter the price.
I think I have six in my freezer, two Waygus, two Creekstone primes, and a couple choice flats. I feel like I'm brisket poor though.
