We returned a $1,000 round tile topped outdoor table after 2 years because the tiles started to come off. They took it, no questions asked for a full refund. I'd take the chance with the fire pit.

They have them here as well, very thin material. ours are around $300 if i remember

I've had one for 2 years. Exact same. It's semi-covered as it's stored year round under a covered porch. It sees weather, but not directly. It's held up very well. It's a pretty good fire pit.
